What happens at a Burns Night?
• Burns night is a celebration in Scotland Normally held in January 25th.
• At Burns' Night events, many men wear kilts and
women may wear shawls,
skirts or dresses made from
their family tartan.
• It’s a celebration of the life of the poet Robert Burns.
• The Traditional food is usually haggis, neeps (turnips) and tatties (potatoes).
